The Challenge
Create a visual identity for Carpet Warehouse, part of the Warehouse Brands Group (keeping in-line with sister brands Grass Warehouse and Flooring Warehouse). 
Build an e-commerce website in Figma and working with a Web Developer to bring it to life.
The project is split into two sections below - branding and UX/UI.

The first part of this project was creating a brand identity that worked synergistically and looked related to sister company Grass Warehouse. The logo was designed with the same font and outline, but in order to differentiate the brands, the primary accent colour was changed from green to yellow (seen throughout reputable brands in the flooring/furnishing/DIY industry) to compliment the pre-existing grey and white palette.
Once the branding and visual identity had been signed off, I worked alongside a web developer to create the company website.
After analysing the current Grass Warehouse website, I worked to create a more seamless and pleasant user experience while coming up with solutions to any problems/issues. I created a website prototype in Figma, which the developer then built.
Data & Research​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​From market research, user testing and insights from Shopify, we found that:
• Approximately 76% of visitors browsed on mobile
• Less than 20% of visitors scrolled down on the homepage
• Lifestyle/customer images and call-to-action buttons were what gained the most attention
• The most visited collection pages were the promotion/sale collection and the bestsellers pages
